The New Hampshire Flying Tiger's Auburn Road flying site has a nice grass runway (located at latitude N 42.931758, longitude W 71.350) which is 275 feet long, and 40 feet wide. A pilot must stand at one of the four pilot stations, each marked by a cement pad, while operating a model at this site. The pilot stations are separated by at least 20 feet to help ensure that transmitter generated 3IM products do not cause problems for RC receivers. Note that we limit the number of aircraft in the air at any one time to four at this flying site at all times.

A pilot must always stand at one of the four pilot stations while flying his aircraft.

You must be a current member of the AMA and a Flying Tiger's club member in good standing to fly at our Auburn Road field. Additionally, you must agree to and sign our "Auburn Road Site Usage Rules" document each year before being allowed to fly at the Auburn Road flying site. The entrance gate must always be locked behind you as you enter the site. All persons visiting the site (including guests and visitors) must be entered into the site log (even if you are not flying). The log is located in the mailbox which is located on site.

If you would like to fly as a guest at our field, you must be a valid member of the AMA and you also must be accompanied by a Flying Tiger's member. Note that we have a limit of three visits to local guests flying at our field. Don't worry, if you are visiting us while on vacation or holiday from a distant area, you are welcome to fly with us without becoming a member! Please see one of the officers to discuss your visit with us before flying.

Running of internal combustion engines is limited to 10 AM to sunset seven days a week. All engines must have a muffler. All aircraft must be measured to be sure they do not not exceed a maximum sound output of 98 dBA at 9 feet as measured from the exhaust outlet before being operated at the Auburn Rd site. This is a sensitive flying site which is a former EPA Superfund site that is still under EPA control and therefore it has many special procedures in place especially concerning the handling of any fuel. Refrain from coming in contact with the ground or surface water as the EPA is still monitoring Arsenic levels in the area.
